Chelsey Brown, RN
CEO & Founder, Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Chelsey Brown is the CEO and owner of The Cosmetic Clinic, overseeing locations in Port Elgin, North Bay, Ottawa Barrhaven, and Kanata. Over the past five years, she has worked tirelessly to create an environment where patients receive the exceptional care and experience they deserve, blending her formal training, research, and education to unite beauty and science. Driven by a passion for innovation and discovery, Chelsey has led the company to new heights while prioritizing quality and patient experience with a growing team.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Chelsey brings a wealth of knowledge to her patients, helping them gain a deep understanding of cosmetic science, longevity, and wellness. Her dedication to ongoing education is evident as she pursues a master’s in nursing leadership and a certificate in women’s hormones, and travels to learn from business leaders around the world. Chelsey is deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional growth.
Beyond her role as the owner and operator of The Cosmetic Clinic, Chelsey is actively involved in research and public speaking, sharing her insights on longevity and medical aesthetics. She has been invited to speak on stages across North America, inspiring clinicians and business leaders to strive for excellence and believe in their potential.
When she’s not advancing the mission of The Cosmetic Clinic, Chelsey prioritizes her personal health and growth, dedicating time to reading and self-improvement. She believes that balance is key to both personal and professional success.

Mia Ippoliti, RN
Nurse Manager, Cosmetic Speciality Nurse
Nurse Mia is a Cosmetic Specialty Nurse and Nurse Manager here at The Cosmetic Clinic. Originally from Cornwall, ON, she moved to Ottawa to pursue her post-secondary education. She attended the University of Ottawa for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a few years later, continued her education at the University of Guelph to obtain her Business Degree.
Mia has worked in Oncology, Palliative Care and Education. She brings several years of experience to the team, having mentored and led health care professionals to achieve more, by bettering their knowledge, skills and practice. Mia continues to do so as an instructor to novice injectors, as well as a leader at The Cosmetic Clinic, helping our Cosmetic Specialty Nurses sharpen their skills, grow and flourish.
Mia always had a passion and interest in aesthetics from a young age, growing up alongside her mom who was always seeking out the most cutting-edge treatments and technologies for beauty. It was meant to be that Mia would find a way to combine her science and business background, together with the fine art that is beauty. Taking the plunge a few years ago to gain aesthetic education, Mia is now an indispensable asset to the team, bringing passion, precise skill and artistry. She will help you achieve beautiful and natural results that leave you feeling empowered and confident.
Brianna Falconi, RPN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse, Aesthetics Specialist
Nurse Brianna, a Cosmetic Specialty Nurse and Aesthetics Specialist at The Cosmetic Clinic in Ottawa, is dedicated to helping you achieve your best self. Originally from North Bay, she ventured to Ottawa to pursue her education at Algonquin College, where she laid the foundation in Biotechnology and Health Sciences before earning her diploma in Registered Practical Nursing. She further honed her skills through advanced Cosmetic Nurse Training in Ottawa and Toronto.
Brianna’s diverse nursing experience includes work at the harm reduction center at Shepards of Good Hope and in the operating room at The Ottawa Hospital. However, her true passion lies in Cosmetic Nursing, where she seamlessly combines her love for science, patient care, and the art of health and beauty. Brianna’s artistic talents extend to makeup and cosmetics, allowing her to provide expert guidance and enhance the natural beauty of her patients.
Detail-oriented and committed to collaboration, Brianna works closely with her patients to help them achieve their aesthetic goals. From cosmetic injectables to a range of aesthetic procedures, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional results while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Connor Marsden, RN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Nurse Connor is a Cosmetic Specialty Nurse who got her start with The Cosmetic Clinic in North Bay. Since then, she has moved to our Port Elgin location! Connor was born and raised in a little town called Haliburton. She moved from there to North Bay to attend Nipissing University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and graduated with honours.
During her time at Nipissing she met Chelsey, who went on to become Founder of The Cosmetic Clinic. For the last few years, Connor has worked on Labour and Delivery in North Bay. With guidance from Nurse Chelsey and the rest of The Cosmetic Clinic team, she has completed her training and qualifications to become a Nurse Injector through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Connor brings an eager smile to The Cosmetic Clinic and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to achieve their beauty and skin care goals.
Amanda Poeta, RN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Amanda was born and raised in North Bay and has always been passionate about science and healthcare. With over five years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, she continues to help bring new life into the world while pursuing her love for cosmetic nursing. She has also worked in public health and as a clinical and lab instructor, where she enjoyed mentoring the next generation of nurses.
As a team member of The Cosmetic Clinic, Amanda is dedicated to helping her patients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. She believes that cosmetic treatments should be an empowering experience, focusing on patient safety, comfort, and delivering beautiful, natural results. Her caring and approachable nature ensures that every patient feels at ease throughout their journey.
In addition to her work, Amanda is furthering her education by pursuing a Master’s in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner. She’s committed to staying on the cutting edge of healthcare, bringing the latest knowledge and techniques to her patients at The Cosmetic Clinic, where science truly meets beauty.
Alexandra Beaton, RPN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
With 11 years of bedside nursing experience in surgical and geriatric care, along with her role as a Clinical Technician at Canadore, Alex Beaton seamlessly combines her medical expertise with her love for aesthetics. Her natural talent and passion for skincare and beauty allow her to blend artistry and medicine, ensuring each patient receives exceptional care in a cosmetic setting.
Alex is deeply committed to delivering beautiful, natural results, with a focus on safety, comfort, and healthy skin. Her approach to aesthetics is both thoughtful and meticulous, aimed at enhancing each patient’s unique beauty while maintaining a holistic view of their well-being.
Alex finds great fulfillment in helping patients gain confidence and feel empowered. She creates a supportive compassionate and safe environment where patients feel comfortable expressing their vulnerabilities, trusting her to guide them on their cosmetic journey with care and understanding.
Luiza Faret, RN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Luiza, originally from Brazil, brings her vibrant energy and expertise to our clinic. In 2016, she ventured to Canada, driven by her passion for studying, pursuing her dream career, and embracing a new lifestyle. Fluent in English, French, and Portuguese, Luisa is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our diverse clientele.
Luiza’s educational journey led her to The University of Ottawa, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Throughout her time in nursing school, she gained valuable experience in the Cosmetic industry as a medical assistant, further expanding her knowledge in the field.
Following her graduation, Luiza honed her skills at The Ottawa Hospital, specializing in Radiation Oncology. Simultaneously, she completed her comprehensive training as a Cosmetic Nurse Injector ensuring her expertise in delivering top-quality treatments.
Driven by her unwavering passion for the Cosmetic Medicine field, Luiza is thrilled to be working alongside knowledgeable, intelligent, and passionate women at The Cosmetic Clinic. She embraces every opportunity to learn and flourish in the ever-evolving Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetic Medicine industry. Marie Nicastro, RN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Marie is a Cosmetic Specialty Nurse at our Ottawa location. She feels incredibly fortunate to work alongside a group of remarkable medical professionals who share her dedication, expertise, and passion.
From a young age, Marie knew she wanted to become a nurse and make a positive impact on the lives of others. With 9 years of nursing experience, she has continuously pursued opportunities for growth and learning. Marie previously worked as a nurse at The Ottawa Hospital and currently serves as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at CHEO.
Marie initially earned her RPN Diploma from Algonquin College and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Ottawa graduating as an RN. She then completed her Cosmetic Nurse Injector Training allowing her to combine her passion for beauty with her dedication to health and nursing.
With her expertise and commitment, Marie is eager to expand her knowledge in the field of medical aesthetics. She takes pride in working collaboratively with her patients, developing personalized plans that best suit their needs, and providing them with a natural and refreshed look.
Krissy Bross, RPN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
With over 15 years of nursing experience, Nurse Krissy brings a wealth of expertise and a keen eye for detail to The Cosmetic Clinic in Port Elgin. A proud Georgian College graduate with honours, she began her nursing career at Owen Sound Hospital in med-surg and Lee Manor Long Term Care. After relocating to her hometown of Mildmay, Nurse Krissy spent the past 14 years at Brucelea Haven Long Term Care, where she excelled as a Unit Charge Nurse at The County of Bruce.
Nurse Krissy's passion for aesthetics and commitment to advancing her skills in cosmetic medicine drive her dedication to enhancing your natural beauty. Makayla Clampitt, RPN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Growing up amidst the stunning views of Lake Huron in Kincardine, Makayla now calls Port Elgin home. She pursued her passion for healthcare at Conestoga College, earning her Registered Practical Nursing diploma.
Makayla brings a wealth of experience to The Cosmetic Clinic, with a background in family medicine, OBGYN, acute care, and public health. You might also find her bringing her expertise to the Medicine or ER departments at Southampton Hospital when she’s not with us.

Kathleen Lim, RN

Kathleen is a registered nurse based in Ottawa, bringing years of hands-on experience from a high acuity hospital setting to the world of medical aesthetics. Her background in vascular surgery has equipped her with a unique blend of medical expertise and care, which she now channels into enhancing natural beauty and empowering individuals through aesthetics.
At the core of Kathleen's practice is a commitment to personalized care. She thoughtfully addresses each patient's needs and goals to achieve stunning, natural-looking results.
Outside of her practice, Kathleen is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and playing volleyball, finding joy in staying active and embracing the world around her.

Mackenzie kelly, RN
Cosmetic Specialty Nurse
Mackenzie is a skilled nurse based at The Cosmetic Clinic’s Kanata location. Growing up in Ottawa, she completed her nursing degree at the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College, followed by several years of valuable experience at CHEO’s Inpatient Oncology Unit. Her time there provided her with a wealth of medical knowledge and a strong foundation in patient care, which she now seamlessly applies to cosmetic medicine & aesthetic nursing.
Mackenzie is known for her patient-centered approach, ensuring that everyone she works with feels both comfortable and confident when discussing their aesthetic goals. She believes in a collaborative process, where natural, refreshed results are achieved through personalized treatment plans designed to enhance each patient’s unique beauty.
Outside of her practice, Mackenzie enjoys reading, playing sports, spending time with friends, and travelling. Greece is at the top of her travel list!
With her extensive nursing experience and passion for aesthetics, Mackenzie is dedicated to helping her patients feel empowered, confident, and radiant.
Gunveen Kalra, NP
Medical Director
Gunveen Kalra began her nursing career after graduating with a BScN from McMaster University in 2009. She then moved to Manitoba, where she practiced in rural settings for three years on the Internal Medicine ward. Driven by her passion for healthcare, Gunveen completed her Master’s in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program from the University of Manitoba in 2017.
Her journey into the world of cosmetic medicine began the same year, starting as a cosmetic injector. Over the years, she has enhanced her expertise through numerous trainings, including beginner-level courses from Dr. Martin’s in Barrie, advanced certification from APT, and her Medical Director qualification from THMA. Her dedication to ongoing education has made her a skilled and knowledgeable practitioner in both injectables and medical aesthetics.
At The Cosmetic Clinic, Gunveen’s philosophy centers on celebrating each patient’s unique beauty while offering services that refresh, rejuvenate, and enhance their natural features in the safest way possible. In addition to her cosmetic work, she supports the clinic's expanding innovative services in weight management, hormone balance, and longevity, helping patients achieve their optimal health and beauty goals.
In 2020, Gunveen found her true passion in medical directorship, leading with expertise and empowering the talented women in her professional network.
When she’s not at work, Gunveen enjoys travelling and listening to music with her family of four. Her two boys keep her busy with laughter and joy, as she balances her professional life with a love for adventure.
Madelaine Garcia
Chief Operating Officer
Madelaine brings over 20 years of executive-level medical practice management experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer at The Cosmetic Clinic. She has designed, built, marketed, and operated more than 60 clinics across Ontario for Canada’s largest multidisciplinary medical group. Throughout her career, Madelaine has led high-performance teams both in-person and virtually, executing industry-transforming achievements, including expanding virtual care access for patients and physicians, which has reshaped the healthcare landscape today.
Her journey in healthcare began with a deep passion for medical aesthetics. For over a decade, Madelaine built a successful brand and business centered around skin health and overall wellness, as well as beauty and fitness coaching. She provided advanced aesthetic treatments and makeup services for events ranging from clinical treatments to local and destination weddings to fitness competitions across the province, while also cultivating an engaged online community.
In addition to her aesthetic expertise, Madelaine pursued education in both holistic and sports-specific nutrition, further broadening her knowledge of wellness. This background enables her to provide a more comprehensive approach to patient care and overall health.
As a graduate of the Ottawa Academy of Aesthetics and Sprott School of Business, Madelaine combines her expertise in business development, sales, marketing operations, and clinical management with her skill and love for aesthetics. Her compassionate leadership and strategic vision make her a key driving force behind The Cosmetic Clinic's success.
Now, as COO, Madelaine seamlessly integrates her experience in medical practice management with her passion for the aesthetic industry, continuing to elevate the clinic’s day-to-day operations, services and patient care.
