    PRF and PRP are both created from a person’s blood, utilizing a centrifuge to separate the components. The end result is a concentration of platelets, the tiny cells responsible for initiating the body’s healing process. The platelet layer is then re-injected to rejuvenate specific areas including hair, skin and under-eye. Adding PRP to Micro-needling is known as the Vampire facial! This treatment can increase cell turnover and collagen production, which can lead to improved skin tone, texture, and elasticity.

  • Depending on how we are using PRF/PRP the service time varies. Typically it’s about 1 hour.

  • Yes! Most people see an improvement within 6 months and 4-6 treatments. Not all concerns are treatable so you’ll want to have a consultation first to make sure appropriate treatment for you.

  • Depending on how we use this treatment the cost ranges from $500- $700 per treatment. Typically 3-6 treatments are recommended for best results.

  • The blood drawn to collect the plasma itself isn’t painful. A skilled nurse will use a specific needle for this. The application of PRF or PRF for the face isn’t painful. Some people may find injections painful, particularly in the head, but we do our best to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
